Eaton Corporation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced site Plant Manager to join our team. This position will provide strategic leadership for the operations of our Molded Case Circuit Breaker plant, with approximately 1,300 employees located in Haina.
This includes, but is not limited to lead the facility in establishing, executing and managing effective programs in accordance with Eaton Corporation policies, and procedures focus on World Class Manufacturing practices.
The PlantManager Manage all manufacturing and functional operations for CPD PCD Hainabusiness, and provides leadership for EHS, Human Resources, Finance, Logistics,IT functions that support Haina Campus.
Ensures safety, quality, production,and financial / cost objectives are met consistently with overall fulfillment ofthe Eaton Business System requirements.
Oversees DR legal complianceaccordingly to requirements, and assure implementation of Corporate policiesand procedures among the functions.
Develops, plans and implements programs to achieve strategic andprofit plan goals that meet divisional and corporate objectives.
Provide visionary objectives that utilizecompetitive comparisons / benchmarking to ensure long term operational success.
Develops plant budgets and forecasts and assures timelyimplementation and control. Inconjunction with the overall Division, develops strategic plans for thefacility, short term and long term.
Directs PCD plant functions including Manufacturing,Engineering / Technical Services, Supply Chain, Quality, CI, Finance, EHS andHuman Resources
Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions toensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO9000, OSHA regulations, and all Nationaland Local laws as they apply to their areas of responsibility.
Acts as liaison, monitors and interpretsdivisional / corporate policies and directives. Delegates and monitors plant operations for compliance with local, stateand federal regulatory agencies relative to affirmative actions (ifapplicable), safety, environmental and similar requirements.
Coordinates new products as well as phase out of old productsusing project management methodology.
Interacts with customers (internal and external) to ensureunderstanding of their expectations and achievement of their satisfaction ofplant products and services.
Manages operating and capital expenses to achieve financialcommitments and acts as accounting representative for the site.
Assures prompt and accurate reporting systems on all aspects ofplant operations including inventory, labor, production, shipping and receivingto monitor performance against plant objectives
Builds organizational capability and drives talent managementprograms and processes. Leads, mentorsand develops direct reports and subordinates creates an environment of accountability.
Establishes goals and assures performance togoals. Enhances employee relationsthrough open and consistent communications and leadership practices.
Direct the plant safety and environmental processes to insure asafe work place for all employees and visitors.
Partner with the marketing group and the Power Components Divisionfor projects / products improvements.
Direct the operational excellence improvement efforts to driveworld class manufacturing levels
Required (Basic) Qualifications :
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finances or other related areas.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing / operations areas.
Requires an administrative knowledge of finance / accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and cost administration
Requires a working knowledge of corporate, division and plant policies and procedures.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques, as well as safety / environmental compliance experience
Preferred (Basic) Qualifications :
Master degree in Finance, Operation Management or others related areas (Preferred)
Knowledge of governmental requirements for the location is preferred
