Rockwell Automation is looking for an exceptional leader to manage a team of product quality engineers and technicians responsible for supporting sustaining engineering activities and support of customer issue resolution.
Sustaining engineering maintains a product through the normal production life cycle to improve and enhance functionality, maintain industry certifications, improve quality, and achieve productivity improvements.
Our role in sustaining engineering is to ensure the we have the right quality processes and risk mitigation actions in place leading to maintaining and improveving the Quality of our products.
You will see and learn all functional aspects of product development and sustaining engineering. You will have the ability to make major impacts on product quality, collaborating with leadership across Quality, Engineering, Product Management, Business, and Operations.
For customer issue resolution, you will ensure that escapes to the field are understood (root cause failure analysis) and corrective actions taken to mitigate current and future occurrences.
You will see different failure modes and work with design, supplier and manufacturing teams to implement improvement actions.
You will also work with commercial and account teams to update customers on progress.
