The opportunity :
We are seeking an individual with a high level of accountability and initiative to join the Dominican Republic Supply Chain Team.
The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for managing all supply chain activities, as well as negotiations with raw material suppliers, services.
This role interacts closely with all areas, in order to execute strategies and objectives capable of satisfying and supporting the needs of our internal and external customers.
How you will impact WestRock :
Reengineering the logistics department, identifying opportunities for improvement, eliminating practices that could compromise profitability, systematizing dispatch functions and reorganizing all warehouses or storage points of premium / consumer materials.
Work with the Planning, Logistics and Materials department to efficient the supply chain,
Ensure the company's approved suppliers maintain options that result in competitive business.
Monitor that cargo transport options and finished product dispatches maintain competitive transportation costs.
Establish dispatch routes for deliveries of finished products to customers throughout the national coast.
Prepare, maintain and present key metrics or indicators from logistics and materials departments.
Prepare budgets for materials and logistics departments.
Evaluate the training needs of the materials and logistics departments, with a view to lean Manufacturing implementation and continuous improvement.
